Prices include VAT. Cancel any month. The yearly plan runs for one year, then continues monthly at the monthly price.
Our server does not save your photo. It passes the photo to OpenRouter (USA), which passes it to Google. Your diary is encrypted on your device. We also hold a recovery key, so we can read your diary.

- Do I need a card to start?
- No. You start with 10 free AI scans or 14 days, whichever comes first.
- What happens when the free scans or the free days run out?
- The app locks until you pick a plan. Everything you logged stays, and you can export it or delete your account at any time.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes. Cancel any month in the app under Your plan, or use the cancellation page linked in the footer.
- Where is my data?
- On your device, with an encrypted copy on our servers in Nuremberg, Germany. We keep a backup key so you can reset a forgotten password, and that key lets us read your diary.
- Is there a free way to use openplate?
- Yes. Run your own copy. The software is free and open source.
